Description
The color is ruby red and the wine has a fruity aroma with hints of red fruit,
of blackberries and plums; the flavour is well structured, harmonious and persistent.
Production area
The grapes come from the valleys of Locoe and Sorasi and from the high lands of “Sa Lacana”, in the Orgosolo countryside. The small vineyards, nestled on gentle hills, are cultivated directly by the members and, thanks to the healthiness of the places, require limited anti-parasitic interventions.
Grape variety
Cannonau, Bovale (Muristellu), Carignano, Pascale of Cagliari.
Breeding method
The small vineyards allow for meticulous control of the plants and the training, using saplings and spurred cordons, is geared towards quality.
Winemaking
The grapes, hand-picked, are delivered immediately after the harvest. In the cellar they are subjected to very soft pressing with destemming. Spontaneous fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature.
Refinement
In concrete barrels for a minimum of six months, rest in bottle

It is a very versatile wine: it pairs easily with first courses, red meats, stewed meats and partially matured sheep's cheeses.
