Description
The wine has a ruby red color, tending to garnet with time. The aromas are clear of tobacco and cinchona. On the palate it is juicy and with a crisp fruitiness. The tannins are elegant and the finish is tense and tasty.
Production area
The grapes come from the valleys of Locoe and Sorasi and from the high lands of “Sa Lacana”, in the Orgosolo countryside. The small vineyards, nestled on gentle hills, are cultivated directly by the members and, thanks to the healthiness of the places, require limited anti-parasitic interventions.
Grape variety
Cannonau, Bovale (Muristellu).
Breeding method
The small vineyards allow for meticulous control of the plants and the training, using saplings and spurred cordons, is geared towards quality.
Winemaking
The grapes, hand-picked, are delivered immediately after the harvest. In the cellar they are subjected to very soft pressing with destemming. Spontaneous fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature.
Refinement
In steel barrels for a minimum of six months, rest in bottle
Alcohol content
15.50%
Serving temperature
18/20 °C
Pairing
It pairs well with first courses, stewed meats, grilled meats and partially matured cheeses.
